Bathroom… what bathroom?

Our open house was such a hit, we thought we would have offers up the wazoo…what’s a wazoo?  Well, we didn’t.  We figured it was due to the fact that, while people were interested, once they saw the inspection report they ran screaming.  So, we decided to fix some of the big things on the reports.  We got a new roof, just in time for the rain.  If we hadn’t fixed the roof, would it still be raining?  The installation of the roof took 2 full days, which we were grateful for my mom’s place in Palo Alto.

The other main repair was our master bathroom…it had water damage due to termites.  They were hopeful the first day, maybe only the toilet would have to come out..NOPE!  The second day (Friday) the entire shower, pan, and tiles had to come out.   This is what we have been living with for a few days.  Hopefully they be able to finish this week.  We are now a 3 bed 1 bath house.  It’s really fun with 2 kids potty training to only have 1 bathroom.  I suppose if someone was desperate they could pee into the big, gaping hole..EEEWWW!!!  On top of that, our toilet is sitting out in our backyard.  It looks great for potential house buyers.
