Abigail’s new bed

Ever since September, we have know that Abigail was ready for a “big kid” bed.  We just thought it would be better for her to wait until we moved and got a bit settled.  Well, that took longer than expected, but today, January 5, 2011, she got her “big kid” bed.  We ordered it from Pottery barn kids, and got it delivered. She is THRILLED!  She loves playing “let’s sleep” on her bed, and didn’t really want Gregory to be on it with her, she was ok with him sleeping under it though. Yes, there are princess sheets and comforter, but the bed is a nice white one, which will be with her for quite some time.  Even when she is out of the princess phase, if she ever is.

Gregory also got a bed, but his isn’t up yet.  He still cries out at night occasionally, and is still in need of a night diaper.  The crying out has to stop, or at least slow down before he gets his bed.  It was SO hard on him not to get his bed.  They are individuals and he’s just not ready for it yet. His is the exact same bed, but a honey colored instead of a white one.
