BIKES!

We finally got the kids their much anticipated “big kid” bikes!  We went to Toys r us a few weeks ago, so the kids could try bikes and we could figure out which size to buy.  Since the bikes were not on sale, we waited… and waited.. and waited, until finally they were on sale!  We went to buy them, only to find out the sale started the next day.  Little did the kids know, Don had to go to toys r us the next day to actually buy the bikes, then we waited again until they were assembled.  Finally, yesterday, Feb 14 the kids and I picked up their new bikes. Yes, Abigail did get a princess bike, and while Gregory really wished for a Spiderman one, he is happy with his Toy Story bike.  Here’s the funny thing: Abigail got on her bike and started pedaling right away, Gregory had troubles at first, got slightly discouraged, saw Abigail doing well, and he took off!  They had a great time, and I can just see many bike rides in our future!
